First stop, Marukai! I wiped them out of all their gold origami 3 x 3″ paper! And I still need one or two packs more. Who ever thought of adding that extra 1 crane to make 1001 was crazy! Origami paper is sold in packs of 100 or some other even denomination! Now, we’ll have to buy an extra pack for that one last crane…
Here is crane 1 … yes, those are instructions because I do not know how to fold a crane!
Hopefully by the 1000th one, it will be perfect with no white showing. My goal is to finish folding all 1000 cranes by end of December! After some calculations, that breaks down to about 5 cranes a day or 35~36 cranes a week to be on the safe side. Easily doable right … as long as I fold daily! If worse comes to worse, I shall throw a crane folding party and you all are invited ;)
Let the folding fun begin and hopefully it really does teach me patience dun dun dun…
