5 out of 6 girlies in the group are now thirty! To celebrate the latest one’s dirty thirty, we went on a pontoon! Yes, a pontoon! The very one who uses a life vest and rarely goes to the beach wanted to have her party at the sand bar. Maybe turning 30 makes you braver because she tackled this voyage life vest-less!
And thank goodness the weather was perfect; we originally had to postpone the date to a later Saturday due to an approaching storm.
It was so much fun with good friends and hyper doggies!
We must say thanks to the birthday girl’s boyfriend who rented the boat, got his boating license so he could take us out to the sand bar and basically had to watch over us (when I say “us”, I really mean me and my drunken happiness). So to that we say, “Thanks, Kevin!” and “let’s do it again before you steal her away from us!”
Annie and Kevin’s moving date, which is late January, is quickly approaching. So from now until then, I vow to have as many girlie get-togethers as possible! Our next gathering, in a couple of weeks will celebrate the last of the bunch to turn thirty! Stay tuned for that story as we bid adieu to Jenl’s twenties!
