If you remember, I used to have wedding nightmares a lot. It was never about whether or not Matt was the one (thank goodness), but rather things I worried about – flowers, dresses, shoes, etc etc. Call me a worry wort. Now that the wedding is over though, of course I no longer have those dreams.
While the wedding dreams are over, I am now starting to have the next sort of dreams….. babies! Baby nightmares! AHHHHHHH
How does the song go…. “first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes baby in the baby carriage”
Typically the next step after marriage is starting a family and we are definitely planning on expanding our Mathy family, but there is one main concern…. who will have the twins? Twins run in both our families. Matt’s aunties are twins. My dad is a twin and my dad’s sister had twins. It seems inevitable that someone is bound to have twins in my family. I like to think it will be my cousins since their dad is a twin and he married a twin; it ups their chances. But you just never know and last night I had a dream that I had twins! Gah!!! Need-less-to-say, I woke up angry. Can you imagine juggling two babies at the same time?! I can’t imagine but assume it would be one of the hardest tasks ever. Kudos to my grandma for raising my dad and uncle and kudos to my aunty for raising my twin cousins. Must be tough… especially with boys haha.
All I ask is no more baby nightmares please! It hasn’t even been six months since we got married. These dreams seem a bit pushy – maybe it’s my grandma saying “hurry up, Kathy” since she was always the one wanting grandchildren. Unfortunately, she is no longer here but I know when the time comes she’ll be looking down from above. But grams, just hold off a bit because we have to go on our honeymoon first and then we have a wedding to be in next April. After that, then you can start bugging me again ;)
Plus, we have a new addition to the family coming in about a month! My sister is pregnant with her first child and he is expected to arrive around 10/27! EEKS!!!! I’m going to be an aunty! I can’t wait to meet the lil munchkin! :)
