If you know me, you know that I don’t own a hair dryer and the only reason I have a brush is because my mom gave it to me as a gift.  Furthermore, even though I have a hair brush, rarely is it ever used!  Brushing my hair calls for a special occasion!

One time Matt asks me, “did you brush your hair?”  And I’m thinking, wow he is going to compliment me and I answer, “no, how come?”  His reply is, “because it is wild and crazy!”  That pretty much sums up my hair!

Make-up you ask … that’s a whole other mess!  The only reason I have foundation is because it is hand me downs from my sister!  Mascara was a freebie from a beauty expo that my friend’s dragged me to at Nordstrom, which by the way was a stampede of crazy women wanting this beauty product and that beauty product!  It was a zoo, I tell yah!!!!

My morning consists of waking up – brushing teeth, washing face, getting dressed, eating breakfast, putting on foundation and curling my eyelashes!  Then I’m out the door in 30 minutes.

But I suppose my wedding is a “special occasion” so I just booked me a trial hair and make-up session with Beverly Kaneshige on October 27th!  I contemplated not booking a trial run at all because it is an extra cost, but the worry-wart that I am needed some reassurance.  Cross your fingers that all will go well and I will be beautified!  Check back on the 27th to see the Kathy transformation….
